It is a technology that integrates a computer-made image into the user's real world. For example, You can see an animation of a T-Rex in your kitchen. You scan a horizontal surface with your phone and select the image/object from the gallery that the app contains. There are lots of apps that serve the Augmented Reality but I choose the Vuforia View because you can not only see the object but also inspect it. You can see the disassemble of the object, warnings about it, and inspect it with the help of the X-Ray view.
This application can be used for education as well. Especially for engineers and architects, it can be so efficient way to examine a machine, object, car, etc. Also, it can be used for language teaching effectively. Simply, you can use it to bring an animal to the classroom and you can ask the name of it your students. Or, you can even bring a giant dinosaur into the classroom and you can thrill them. It can be a perfect way to get rid of the monotony of the class and you can draw your students' attention to the subject and increase the efficiency of the class.
