An Educational Game: Kahoot

Kahoot is a game that can be used educationally efficiently. Both students and educators can prepare their own Kahoot games, so every user is allowed to do it. Simply, you create a "Kahoot" that can include multiple-choice questions. You can add answers up to 4 and you can save this "Kahoot" to use later. Then, when you want to play, you choose the Kahoot that you had prepared and started the game. After that, Kahoot gives you a game pin that provides your students, participants to join your Kahoot game. They can use a computer, mobile phone, or tablet pc to join but they cannot see the question from their devices. So, you need to show the question to them. For this reason, Kahoot is more suitable for the classroom environments. It can be used in distanced education too but some problems may occur because of the delay of the meetings. Even so, it is not a huge problem to use it in distanced education. You can stream your screen and show the question to your students and they can join and answer it from their devices easily.
